The Chabrières appartment was named after the view you have on the Chabrières mountain from here. The appartment is part of the typically French and perfectly restaured 17th century farmhouse and has a total surface of 70 m. The appartment is a typical French building, but is equipped with Dutch luxury. After an active day you can sit here in the cosy sitting room and enjoy the burning fire in the wood stove with your beloved, friends or family. You can enjoy the view of the most beautiful mountain tops of Les Ecrins from your private terrace.

Les Ecrins is one of the largest and most beautiful natural parks in the French Alps. It consists of tens of three thousand metres high mountain tops. Each season has its own charms and the diversity of the landscapes is huge.

In winter it is a true winter sport paradise. The 255 km of fabulous slopes offer you lovely ski trips. And langlauf, alpine and snowboard fans find everything they need here. The combination of the south facing position and the slopes on the northern mountain face ensures a ski holiday with guaranteed sun and snow.

In spring and summer it transforms into a flower paradise. You can make the most fantastic walking trips in all directions from your appartment. And you can also mountainbike, go climbing, rafting or go shopping on the market in the nearby city of Briancon or visit the picturesque old town. And in autumn the whole nature is painted in fiery colours.

And the typical French relaxing is obviously done in your cosy appartment or your garden.

The roughness of the eternally white mountain tops and glaciers are characterstic of the Alps. Lakes, meadows and vineyards can also be seen. An area of contrast and breathtaking beauty. Fairy tale like Castles and picturesque villages, also Roman splendour. The beauty of the towns Annecy, Chambery and Lyon. It is also the land of 'Beaujolais' wine. A unique holiday area for everybody!

In the Alpes du Sud you will find the large ski areas Les Trois Vallées, les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez. You can also enjoy the impressive mountain scenery with beautiful extensive nature parks like the Vercors. Or book one of the caves or go on the Napoleonroute.

Ski area: La Forêt Blanche

The ski resorts Vars and Risoul have joined La Fôret Blanche Resort. This resort is in the Southern Alps where several northern slopes, the high altitude, dry air and more than 300 sunny days a year make for perfect winter sports possibilities.

This resort has a total of 180 km of ski runs. Vars is the largest and most known of the two localities. You will mainly find blue and red ski runs here. There is also a very fast ski run here that is also used for the well-known Ski de Vitesse? competitions.

Risoul is a more family-friendly resort than Vars. Snowboarders are certainly in the right place in Risoul. Surfland, the largest snowboard park in Europe was built for them. This consists of a lit halfpipe of 100 meters and an enormous 800-meter fun park with the necessary obstacles. For music lovers, events and music spectacles are regularly organized on the ski runs.

You are certainly at the right place for perfect conditions and a surplus of sun.
