Eastern Jutland is the region from the danish/german boarder in the south up to Himmerland and the waters of the Limfjord in the north. Here you can enjoy the only real river in Denmark GUDENÅEN, woods, heath, meddows, miles of coastline, the quiet waters of the Kattegat, sandy beaches, natures finest MOLS BJERGE and lots of small villages and picturesk cities. But don't forget to visit the archipelago of eastern Jutland - the islands of Samsø, Tunø, Alrø, Endelave, Als or Anholt. A few miles away from the coast you find a totally differnt landscape at the Lakes of Silkeborg - gigantic woods, a cosy town almost surrounded by water and the danisch "hillside" - this part of the country offers an unique variety of sights, tourist attractions and leisure.
